Murders at Filucy Bay

Amateur sleuth Biodina d’Angelo tries to befriend her curmudgeon neighbor in the nearby cabin on Filucy Bay in the Puget Sound, who has alienated every contractor and worker he has hired to upgrade his property.

When Dickie Simmons unearths a skeleton from a bog with his excavator, he turns to Biodina to help identify the ancient native American, who was an important chieftain’s son of the Puyallup tribe, and the reason for an unsuccessful uprising against the white settlers.

Through her research and investigative process, she learns that the man was murdered for his beautifully crafted copper breastplate.

During the work with the state archaeologist and authorities, Dickie Simmons disappears, and Biodina, with her intuitive nature and snoopiness, aids the authorities in finding his killer.
